Ignatius Creegan and Rod Givens

We sew braided wheat straw into hat shapes, fit to hand carved wooden hat blocks, (molds).  The hat body is then finished with wire and belting  and trimmed with milliner made novelties.  
Fine fur Felt hat  bodies are blocked on antique or newly made carved molds.  The blocked felt is then adjusted for firmness with shellac, then wired and bound with ribbons.  The finished hat is then trimmed with findings and felt novelties.
